One of clients is searching for a Senior Financial Analyst for their Reynosa, Mexico operations.
Functions and Responsibilities
• Develop, initiate, and coordinate accounting and financial objectives with all department personnel and all other divisional personnel that require assistance and/or information.
• Perform accounting functions of maintaining standard costs, calculating labor rates, updating manufacturing labor routings, maintaining material prices.
• Participate in the development of and implementation of cost savings projects, and profit and strategic plan objectives.
• Identify and support continuous improvement ideas and programs through teamwork and participation.
• Facilitate month-end closing and complete account reconciliations. Also perform financial statement review as well as prepare and post journal entries.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations.
• Responsible for capital projects appropriation requests, capital spend tracking, and maintaining -Oracle Fixed Asset & Project systems.
• Assist in monthly rolling forecast and operation review package.
• Ensure site is compliant with all SOX requirements.
• Prepare, analyze, and investigate account variances and make recommendations for corrective actions.
• Assist in the design and application of the annual physical inventory. Provide training classes for designated employees.
• Prepare and communicate budgets to departments on quarterly basis
Qualifications:
• licenciatura en finanzas o contabilidad,
• Must have initiative and leadership
• 95% English
• Excellent excel knowledge
• Able and effective to give financial presentations
